SMITH Mildred Ann (Ball) Smith, 75, after a courageous battle with cancer, went home to be with our Lord Sunday, June 29, 2008. Born November 14, 1932, in Honaker, VA. Preceded in death by parents Etta and Eldon Ball, brother Clyde Ball. Survived by Herschel, her husband of 56 years. Herschel is a Broker with Gall and Goss Realtors; children, Ron (Karen), Don (Debbie), Steve (Carol), Herschel (Rachel) and Sheri; grandchildren, Lindsay, Emilie, Brad, Lori, Ben, Kim, Matt and Miranda; siblings, Helen Ball, Erma Kossuth, Virginia Barnhart and Kenneth Ball; many nieces and nephews. She was a long-time member of Maize Road Baptist Church, and recently attended Genoa Baptist Church. Mildred was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was giving, caring, and put the needs of others before herself. Mildred will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N.
