He was drafted in Rockingham Co VA. He m. Elizabeth Callaham in Washington Co VA on 13 Jan 1823. She was allowed widow's pension 1853 at age abt 70. Michael Widener d. 12 Apr 1842 at age abt. 85. His brother John Widener made statement for him & said they had moved to Washington Co VA in abt. 1782, and that he (John) was abt. 14 in 1779. Both Michael & John are referred to as "Sr." in some statements. Samuel & David Carson made statements for Michael. Elizabeth Robinson made statement for Elizabeth in her application.
