In the file is a letter from JW Stevens of Abingdon who apparently had been contacted to try & find the marriage record for this couple. They had been married 1781 in St Clair's Bottom in Washington County by Thomas Woolsey, a Baptist minister. Mr. Stevens said in his reply that he had spoken with Mrs. Dean, the daughter of Rev. Woolsey, & that she said her sister had taken his marriage record book with her to Missouri. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
