He was b. in Berks Co PA, lived in Lancaster PA, Frederick Co MD, and was in Washington Co VA by 1777 where he entered service. He m. Sally Lyndar (Linder ?) on 10 Dec 1781 in Washington Co. He died 3 Aug 1837. Statements were made for him by: Ezekial Hobbs, age 71 in 1833 John McCullach, age 71 in 1833 James Keys William Snodgrass, resident of Sullivan Co TN James Vance, age 73 in 1833 His wife filed for widow's pension in 1844.
