Hi Mike I would be very interested in these maps to show me where they are and who is buried in there. My husband and I have been going to cemeteries to locate family we take pictures of the stones and then document them. This is for our genealogy group as well as documentation on our families. Any that you would have I would like. Maybe if you want to put them on dvd/cd I would be interested in buying one. Check out the Moses Harris and Jackson Cemeteries in the bottom right corner of the map (just move you over the notes and then double click the note to see all the data.) I've been thinking about re-doing the cemetery books the Taylors did years ago and finishing the series (they stopped with many cemeteries not yet charted). Now I'm trying to decide whether to put them out in book form by USGS Quad with an included CD showing their locations or to include to persons buried in each cemetery directly on CDs. I like the idea of being able to view them directly on CDs, but think putting it in book form would be more practical. > >By the way, we went down to Russell Co. this past week and I went trampsing around the mountains in the Lynn Spring and Hollow Poplar Ridge areas placing a few of the cemeteries I already had as well as locating a few new ones I previously was unaware of, including ones where Confederate soldiers John G. I was in Tazewell VA in August to do some research on my Lockhart family. I know that the family had attended Liberty Hill Church from 1884 to 1890 that was in D. H. Carr journal. I saw a picture of the church and there was a cemetery by the church up on a Hill. I had someone take us out to the church on US 91 (which only three stones are left next to it a trailer) and up on the hill is a cemetery with a stone wall around it and a big tree couldn't get up to the cemetery to see what was there it was on someone property. Would you have any information on this cemetery? > > > > >Sharon Vaughn
>2939 Rockcreek Ct
>Richland WA 99354
> 509-375-4732
> ----- Original Message ----- > From: Michael Dye<mailto:madye@roadrunner.com> > To: varussel@rootsweb.com<mailto:varussel@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Friday, September 11, 2009 4:41 PM > Subject: [VARUSSEL] Topographic Cemetery Maps > > > Everyone, > > I was wondering if there might be an interest in this.
