A little different direction, but just as interesting, in my opinion........... I met someone online , non-genealogy related, nine years ago. We e-mailed a lot and eventually started talking on the phone. Of course I immediately mentioned genealogy as one of my passions. Through my research, at that time, I discovered my 3x ggf , Jacob Elliott, CW soldier from WI, as buried 5 minutes from his home in Marietta, GA. He moved here to CA four years ago and is helping me raise my two granddaughters who moved in with us two years ago. Some would call it a coincidence that Jacob was buried by Robert's house, I think it was part of a bigger plan.....
