Author: sueatrice Surnames: Johnson Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.virginia.counties.russell/7919/mb.ashx Message Board Post: have been trying to find George Johnson of Russell County, Virginia, he married Maude Burton and they had a child born 11-12-1907 & named him Willard Johnson who was later shot and killed by Bill Hurd in 1940....I have not been able to locate any information regarding George Johnson, I think he died sometime between 1907 and 1909 when Maude re married in Wise County Virginia to Grover Cleveland Thomason. Do you have any idea where I might find some info about George Johnson, I believe his parents were John Johnson and Jane Elam, not sure. He had a sister named Ester Johnson who married Fulton Burton in 1905.....any help would be appreciated. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
