He created given names for people whose surnames existed in the geographic area and linked them in what would appear to be a plausible realationship. He also created fraulent LDS film numbers for citations to support his claims but the films don't exist. He also knew marriage records for that period in Russell county were missing and his created marriages could not be disproven. This continues to be a terrible disappointment and frustrating fact for those of us researching the Sword surname.
