My father, Preston Myron Chaney, was named after William Preston Chaney, his grandfather. I am very interested in more information about the Chaney_Blair Kentucky links. I am also curious why some documents state that William Lee Chaney, my grandfather, and his brother, Isom Taylor Chaney, were born in Missouri but 2 sisters were born in Kentucky and the remaining siblings were born in Minnesota.
