    3. Hi Warren, Thank you. It appears that the cemetery was very close to the Scott/Russell Co line -- an important clue. Would you give me a little more information? I do have a Margaret Ramey of Scott Co, daughter of Jesse and Polly Ramey. This Margaret was born about 1824. She had a brief, childless marriage with Alexander Blevins in the early 1850's, and I could never find any further information on her. One other possibility would be Margaret Ramey, daughter of James Timothy Ramey and Nancy Penix. Maybe others on the list can give you more complete information. Mew is about 4 miles from The Sinking Creek Community, in Scott County. The Sinking Creek Community is 5 miles from Dungannon, Va. The Scott County & Russell County line is at The Sinking Creek Community. This is what I should have written, but I did not end the sentence where it should have been ended. Sorry ! This is the Correction, of that mistake. I know this to be accurate, because I lived in The Sinking Creek Community. My Grandmother Nash lived there most of Her Life. We could see the Russell / Scott County Line sign from Her House in Sinkin'. I do not know where, or anything else about this Ramey Cemetery, but I would like to know more about it because I Descend from a Margaret Ramey. Margaret Ramey had two Children with or by William Nash, Jr. Margaret Ramey 's Father was Jessee Ramey which I know almost nothing about. Perhaps He could be buried in this Cemetery ??? Maybe ? 3.       Hi Sharon,  I think there is a Cemetery up on  " The Ridge Road " , which is about 3 hundred yards past / from the Scott & Russell County Line ( in Russell County) in The Sinkin' Community. Now I do not remember exactly where it is.        I think You go up the Mountain on " The Ridge Road " it is back in there about a mile, possibly as many as 4 miles up in there. If I remember right, it is off the Road a little ways, but I just can't tell You how far or exactly where !!  ??      If You go looking, Please stop & ask someone for help & directions !!     I also do know where there is another Cemetery, actually I know of 4 Cemeteries within 1 mile of each other there in The Sinkin' Creek Community .    3 of them are in in Scott County, & 1 in Russell County.       There is The  " Porter Cemetery ", which has also been called  " The Nash Porter Cemetery ".  This one is located on The Doc Porter, later Paul Porter Farm, about 3 quarters to a mile from the Scott Russell County Line.  My Great Grandmother Laura E. (Porter) Nash & Her Husband Fleetwood G. Nash & some of Their Children are buried there.  This one is in Scott County.       Next there is The Keith Cemetery, it is about a Half mile from the County Line. In Scott County.       Next there is the Nash Family Cemetery, where My Grandfather, George Washington Nash is buried. This one is less than a quarter mile from the County Line. More like about an 8 Th of a mile.  This is also in Scott County.       Then the next one, I think it is a Ramsey Family Cemetery.  I am almost Positive that this is A Ramsey Family Cemetery.   This one is not a Ramey Cemetery !!!!   This Ramsey Cemetery is located about a half a mile into Russell County, From the Scott & Russell County Line.  It is up on a hill top going out of The Sinking Creek Valley. It is just before You start down from the cut gorge going toward Mew, Castlewoods, before the old Arvill Porter Gas Station / Store.         You will have to call Me on this one so I can explain it in more detail. My Phone No. is (313)   885-4238.   I hope all of this is aleast some help to You.        Thank You For the Info on Margaret Ramey !!!!!   I do have the same Info on this one, but She is not My Great Great Grandmother !  My Margaret Ramey was born 1804 or 1809 not sure of the date, there is two dates that some of Us argue about. Well anyway She had My Great Grandmother, Louisa Jane Nash, Dec. 28, 1839. This Margaret Ramey is buried in The Nash Family Cemetery in Russell County at Nash's Ford near Cleveland, Va.                    GOD BLESS,                          WARREN --- On Fri, 4/16/10, speell <speell@windstream.net> wrote: From: speell <speell@windstream.net> Subject: Re: [VARUSSEL] Lost Cemetery To: varussel@rootsweb.com Date: Friday, April 16, 2010, 3:46 PM Hi Warren, Thank you.  It appears that the cemetery was very close to the Scott/Russell Co line -- an important clue.
