I have never seen any documentation that "our Fairlenah" was a Harrison from the Berkley Plantation Harrisons. From pure standpoint of history, you would not undertake such a trip across the mountian and under such dire straits unless you are a desperate people looking for a better start in life. It has been told to me her father was a Richard Harrison of Montgomery Co. I have seen no proof. I read an interesting article on Fort Harrison in the Washington Co area (if my mind serves me right) run by 3 brothers. Just throwing that out but same time same place. Fairlenah and her husband James are the parents (I think) of my side, John Harrison Wheeler. I know for a fact the family this far back and have completed my Dads DNA.
