The John F. McElhenny Camp Sons of Confederate Veterans, assisted by UDC members, will present an iron cross at a dedication honoring Confederate veteran Wilburn Hale on Sunday, August 16 at 3:00PM. Those attending will meet at about 2:30 at the Gravel Lick Old Regular Baptist Church on Gravel Lick Road, between Hamlin and Clinchfield to travel to the cemetery. The public is invited to attend.

Unfortunately I do not, I have over 1000 + titles in the store and more 40,000 at my finger tips and most and surnamed index. And being the only one to prepare for the upcoming seminars and events checking the emails packing orders and mailing and run the store. My mother had a accident and she did alot of the mailings and orders but at this time its too hard to try to do. I don't know if this is the same or not, age is not in agreement. The father of James K. Mays, Jr. is James Mays Born 1804 This is all the information I have on him. He was probably James Mays, Sr. and since James K. Mays Jr. was born in North Carolina I presume he was from there also and then moved to Russell County, VA.
