    3. Angela,   I would be Basil Dickenson's 3rd cousin twice removed. I see his common ancestor and mine as Henry Dickenson Jr. m. Mary Powell. By the grace of having a "relationship chart" available to me I can actually figure it out.   Here is my decent through that line:   Henry Dickenson Jr. m. Mary Powell Henry Dickenson III m.Pricilla Carrell Charles Carrell Dickenson Sr. m. Catherine "Katy" Counts" Henry hopkins Dickenson m. Cornelia Winston Quarles Giles H. Dickenson m. Rebecca Browning My mother ME!! (aren't I excited to be here!)   If I am correct yours looks like this (Please correct any errors and feel free to also add any info.) Henry Dickenson Jr. m. Mary Powell James A. Dickenson m. Mary "Polly" Gray John Nelson Dickenson m. 1st?? Sarah Jane Boyd & then 2nd _______ Harstock, the                                         mother of William T. Dickenson William Thomas Dickenson m. Dorcus Suite (It was a double wedding w/ his brother                                               Clinton and his bride Nannie Suite being married at                                              that time.) William T. Dickenson also married 2nd? a Ruth                                              ________________?   Basil Bascom Dickenson m. Helen ________________. Your mother or Father You!   It looks like I have some holes in the last several 1st or second marriages. If you can provide any information it would be much appreciated.   I have a lot of information across the Dickenson line. Maybe we can help each other fill in some holes.   Let's chat and see.   Best regards, John Darst   --- On Sun, 1/10/10, gc-gateway@rootsweb.com <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> wrote: From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> Subject: Re: [VARUSSEL] Bazzell Bascom Dickenson, obit, 1967 To: VARUSSEL-L@rootsweb.com Date: Sunday, January 10, 2010, 11:58 AM This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
