For you Clark researchers, my ancestress, Mary (born very near 1650, d. 1732, a dau. of William and Judith Burton) married Robert Edwards (c1650-1681/23) and had thereby, before marrying Owen Griffith in 1681/82, children Robert Edwards Jr., Margaret, Mary, and Judith (birth order is uncertain). Judith (before 1712 md. a Harris, then seemingly, another Clark). Margaret and Judith were yet described as "spinsters" in 1701, however were married shortly thereafter and, as was their half-sister Sarah Joiner, were bequeathed money in the will of their mother, Mary Hunt Edwards Griffith Boddie, at Mary's death in 1732. The family is VERY interesting and is treated at some considerable length in my book "Now In Our Fourth Century". Paul > The Clarks were in Surry and Isle of Wight before 1700.
Sorry to all for my error (one word, but critical indeed).
