The only listed Ray for Roanoke 1840 is Juble Ray. I do have a Jacob & Peter Kefauver listed. On the Roanoke Co Death list I have a John W. Ray who died 8/15/1855 of Croup, 1 year and six months old. Parents are W.E. & E. Ray. I don't know if that is the same but it's pretty close. It says that John W. Ray (child) was born in Roanoke Co. The same book I have a Susan Ray, died 12/28/1853 died of Scarlet Fever age 2, parents are Juble & Ann Ray. -----Original Message----- From: The Cooks [mailto:pepperhead1@cox.net] Sent: Thursday, August 07, 2003 10:29 AM To: VAROOTS-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [VAROOTS] SPOTS WILLS 1720-1750 A Hello Jacinda, Thanks for your kindness. I would be very interested in the Roanoke 1840 Census for William E. RAY and are any KEFAUVER families listed? William married Elizabeth KEFAUVER. Thanks again, Maried ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jacinda Andre" <enchantedladyj@worldnet.att.net> To: <VAROOTS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, August 07, 2003 12:20 PM Subject: RE: [VAROOTS] SPOTS WILLS 1720-1750 A > > Can someone please check to see if they have found any wills belonging to > the Neighbors Family in Virginia?
