It is very hard to read the column headers. If there is a reference to the column headers, it would help. Hi Pat, The A and B lists are for the two precincts that existed in the county. These precincts could be different parish boundaries or some other physical definition such as valleys, rivers, etc. Sometimes the precincts were even militia districts. A good summary for tithe lists, personal property tax lists, and land tax lists can be found at the Library of Virginia website.
