I would like to know where to find more information on Peter Gregory who was my great great grandfather, born in Virginia and moved to Kentucky. In Rev. B.H. Dupuy's 1908 book on the Dupuy family he gives Peter's birth date as May 8, 1767 in Virginia. Peter married Martha Minter in January 1811 in Woodford County, Kentucky and they moved to Boone County, Kentucky. Martha was the daughter of Joseph Minter from Powhatan County, Virginia and Jane Trabue from Chesterfield County, Virginia. Rev. Dupuy's book indicates that Peter had been married before. I don't know where in Virginia he was born or who his parents were, or when he moved to Kentucky. Peter and Martha named their oldest son Thomas Edmundson - don't know if that is a clue or not.
