They were listing percentages or areas hardest hit for different cities. They had that one sentence for Williamsburg. I googled Williamsburg and Isabel. http://www.dailypress.com/news/dp-81769sy0sep24,0,5705757.story?coll=dp-head lines-topnews http://www.dailypress.com/news/dp-81359sy0sep24,0,1839128.story?coll=dp-head lines-topnews My next door neighbor is still without power or phone use. A pine tree fell on the lines going from the pole to the house, the lines are lying in their driveway disconnected from the the pole. Five houses from me on my street a massive tree took all the lines down there. It completely blocked the road for three days. It's now cut back so the road is clear but the tree is still lying on the lines. We were just lucky that our power is on a different grid. I have friends about a mile away who still have no phone service or power. It's like that for several streets near them also. One friend just one street away from me is in the same boat. I know it's hard waiting for word. Williamsburg has so many tall, beautiful trees. It is so beautiful there. I'm sure that the tree loss/downage is immense. We've had such a wet year. We've had more days of rain than sunshine the last year. The ground is so soaked that the trees didn't stand much of a chance. The night before the storm in Va. Beach a huge tree fell on a RV and a house. The tree that fell on our shed thursday morning, fell at 9 am. Our winds didn't become scary until about 1 pm. Our schools are closed again for tomorrow. It's going to take a while for things to return to normal for a lot of Va. Isabel affected so many lives. Margy Va. Beach, Va.
