Hey Eric, If those Siases are 5th cousins then that makes you kin to my son somewhere - take me a month of Sundays to figure it out though. I am a Sias only by marriage. My husband was a direct descendent of John Sias - and was something like the 12th generation - so that make my son 13th generation. Dear Mary, I am told that WE ALL ARE at least 14th Cousins, by scientists who know the mathematics. (SMILE) That is, everyone on earth is related to some degree. My Sias cousins are by way of the Carrels and Harts of Carroll County, Ohio, back in the middle 1800s. Hey Eric, Have you found the Sias that married a Shawnee indian yet? First time I heard about that my mother in law told me about it (but she was very vague about it). Then my son came home from school one day all excited - he had run across something at school about somebody named Sias marrying a Shawnee woman in Ohio - so evidently it is doumented. Now that will give you something to do LOL. If you run across somebody in your digging named Ruffner, then you will know for sure we are related HAHAHA Take care - and good hunting!
