A MOTHER'S SILENT PRAYER A Sailor now serving our country. A man by all measure, yet a boy always in her heart. An oath has been sworn The Sailor leaves to make his way. His is a new family now with siblings the world over. Yet a tiny rural town tugs at his heart, with an eternal reminder of another oath, another bond, another family, and his Mom, who sends him blessings every morning for a safe day. And whispers his name every night, that his life be an honorable one. A Mother's silent prayer for a son whom she knows, may never come home again. @sarah elizabeth rose (Veteran, and mother of son, currently serving) My poetry site: http://users.rosenet.net/poetryandroses/ My Genealogy site: http://www.gaia.edu/genclass/srose/
