    3. Looking for Henrico area BINNS families and descendants. David Binns is the father. Son are Christopher, David, Joseph, Peter and Dionitious. Family is recorded in St Peters Parish records, New Kent, 1725-1739. Court records exist in Henrico 1750s-1760's. Christopher's branch moved on to Wilkes, GA. David's branch stayed in Henrico area. Joseph's branch went to Cumberland, KY. Nothing found for Peter. Dionitous' branch stayed in New Kent area and moved to OH, MI. Many blanks to be filled in. Thnaks ! Steve and Bunny

Hebert: SMITH, John H.H. - originally from Virginia (son of Charles Smith & Elisabeth HENDRICK) married 16 June 1812 Celeste SAVOIS - originally from this parish (daughter of deceased Jean SAVOIS & Margueritte BOUTIN) Witnesses: Daniel WINN, William KELLEY, P. CUNNINGHAM. Fr. Louis BUHOT (Opelousas Church: volume 1-A, page 224) [St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas, Louisiana] [These were my 4th great grandparents] According to "Notable men of Alabama" by John C. DuBose: personal and genealogical, with portraits - Spartanburg, S.C.: Reprint Co., 1976, 944 pgs, Charles Smith and Elizabeth Hendrick were also the great grandparents of Alabama's former governor, William Hugh Smith.
