These are some of the lines/ brick walls I am working on. My great grandmother, Vernie Olivia MARION, one of 9 children, was b. Oct 1873 Bedford Co., VA, d. 1918 in Radford, VA. She married my great grandfather, Robert J. HARRELL in 1891. He was born Jan 1862 in Wythe Co., VA. He died March 1898. His parents, my 2nd great grandparents, J.A.and Maggie E. HARRELL are hidden in the brickwall. Vernie's parents, my 2nd great grandparents, were Sarah Jane MITCHELL 1864-1923 who married John Lewis MARION in 1865. He was b. 1843 in Amherst, VA. and died July 1881 in Bedford Co., VA. John Lewis MARION"S parents , my 3rd great grandparents, are also hidden in the brick wall. Sarah Jane Mitchell was the daughter of my 3rd great grandparents, John Getty MITCHELL, b June 1796 , d. April 1874 and Obedience HARDEN, b 1815 , d. Dec 15, 1891. John Getty MITCHELL was previously married to Nancy Lee ROACH and Nancy WILKINSON.. His parents are also hidden to me. If anyone can help knock down these walls, please come knocking.
