My gr gr grandfather, Andrew J. Thompson was b. in Virginia in 1813. I have a copy of the records showing that he married an Eliza McIntire, (also b. 1813) in 1833, in Springfield, Ohio. I have records that indicate that Andrew and other family members migrated together from Virginia to Ohio. Now, I'm wondering if, perhaps, his McInire in-laws might have made this same migration and also have had roots in Virginia? Unfortunately, "Eliza" was a very popular name, back then, and I've come across several "Eliza McIntires" in my searching but none seem to be quite right. I hope that someday I'll be able to find out who my Eliza's family was. Jan Weber Fancypatch@aol.com
