Story by The Associated Press CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The owner of the mine where 12 men died after an explosion says hundreds of thousands of dollars are pouring into a memorial fund the company set up. In an interview with The Associated Press today Wilbur Ross says ordinary working people are giving ten and twenty dollars. He says a competitor in the mining industry - Massey Energy of Richmond, Virginia - donated $250,000 dollars. Ross says he knows money won't replaced loved ones but 100 percent of the money will go to the dead miners' families, including $2,000,000 dollars donated by his company International Coal Group.
