    3. Greetings to all! I am totally stumped on a line of mine: Paulet (or Pawlett, Paulet, etc). I can trace back as far as Thomas Paulett, born around 1701, Louisa CO, VA. Other than that, I cannot find the common denominator between him and Capt. Thomas Paulet (some have him spelled as variations of above). Captain Thomas Paulet was a son of William Paulet, Marquess of Winchester, and he left Westover Plantation to his brother, Lord St. John, in his will. Reading his will, it seems he had no progeny, but my Thomas Paulett came from someone left behind from England, as he did not emigrate. Captain Thomas Paulet also had a couple of other brothers who dabbled in the early colonies; Brother Chidiock shows up on immigration records, and another William, as well as a Charles Paulet. My Thomas married (first) Semiramis Johnson, and then Elizabeth Christmas. Their son, Richard, married the granddaughter of David Meriwether and Ann Holmes. These are my allied families: Paulett, Smith, Holmes, Christmas, Meriwether, Anderson, Overton, Crawford, Barnett, Sims, Harris, Cliett. If ANYONE out there can help me find the elusive Paulett side, I would be greatly appreciative! Kindest Regards, Kim Stephens
