    2. Don Kelly
    3. Records that survived the burning practices of the Revolutionary war, War of 1812 and the Civil War are indeed precious. I heard the British burned records in Ireland and America because the King owned all the land anyway, and to prevent land ownership after the war from being proved. There must be more motives than that of course, and how much can we believe of what we hear? I would dearly love to peek at those records. Don Kelly, descendent of Kelly of King and Queen County, Virginia, era 1700. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, October 15, 2005 12:03 PM Subject: [VAROOTS] slave, confederate and union documents just fyi, > this is an ad from the virginian pilot classifieds, i am not affliated in > any way, > > i can't believe they are not giving these to libraries or something. but > here goes: > > AN HISTORICAL DOCUMENT, PHOTOGRAPH AND ARTIFACT SALE; > Slave, Confederate and union documents, princess Anne County, Norfolk, > military items 1700-1940's, DAGUERREO TYPES, AMBRO TYPES, TIN TYPES, > NOV 4,5, 6TH 3900 BONNEY ROAD VIRGINIA BEACH VA 757 581 7200 > > I can't wait, i've got to go see what this is all about, i probably won't > be > to afford anything, but i can go and see anyway. > good luck! > kristina > > > ============================== > Find your ancestors in the Birth, Marriage and Death Records. > New content added every business day.
