Hello Wendy Thank you for your very kind offer, the person I am looking for is John Bethwaite (my husbands Gt Gt Grandfather). He emigrated from Whitehaven in Cumberland England with his daughter Jane her husband John Stanaway and children. I have him living at Newport News on the 1900 US census with Jane John & family (Stanway) mis-spelt he was abt 81. He is not on the 1910 so I think he may of died sometime during these 10 years. I have been in contact with the Stanaway family a grandaughter of Jane and John, but after the first letter and offer of help,for reasons only she knows the help never came and I haven't heared from her since, my mail to her has not been answered.
