Wondering if there are any Janney Persons on this list. My grandfather was Robert Janney son of Burwell and Mary Radford Janney. They lived in the Floyd and Franklin areas of VA. My grandfather fought in the Civil War. Some way he ended up in Zanesville, Ohio and never returned home after the War was over. He told my mother, his family was neither rich nor poor??? He lived on a farm and he stated they had a Mill. I would be very interested in any Janneys and perhaps find some clues. My mother said he was an avid hunter and had several hunting dogs.
