i went to the civil war materials sale today, it's very very small the room was 9 x 12 and very very expensive. i might go back tomorrow to see if they have marked down any of their stuff. they had military uniforms and a few bibles and pictures. the one thing that caught my eye was the newspapers, but for $300 there wasn't a chance for me. they had all the "good" stuff in COAT BOXES, deep4-6 inch coat boxes by 2 feet long, and they had about 6 of them and they were selling the contents at $300. there was no breaking up a box or buying one thing, you had to buy the whole box. so i was outta there. for those of you who want to go, it's at the antique mall at 3900 bonney road, i think suite 111 or 116. virginia beach, I saw quite a few certificates, and other documents that were labeled $50 and higher, i was disapointed. there were some wills (originals) that probably could be found for free at pac city hall. oh and there was some lady's store accounting book and a union book i didn't look at. kristina _www.nyvagenealogy.homestead.com_ (http://www.nyvagenealogy.homestead.com)
