    3. Hi Paul, Seems awhile back I did a quick search via online and found a Frances Hutchins in Nansemond parish somewhere but cant recall now. But it was a male not female.     3. Parish records are the most overlooked of all local records, though those reveal a world about the activities of the parishioners and the neighbors of your people. I honestly do not think anyone can say they have search without reading all registers/vestry records that remain for the "wheres" of an ancestor. That applies equally to ALL extant church records for the same areas. Religion was a very large part of the daily lives of our people.
