If you are inclined to spend a bit of money, the program, "AniMap", available readily on the internet , will reveal by moving maps the genesis of all colonies/counties of our nation. It is very user friendly and is used MANY times a day by a large number of us who do early research. Simply type "Animap" in your browser, then click "Genealogy" in the left column. However, with all the boundary changes of the states over the years I think that perhaps they might now be listed in other states, such as West Virginia, and North Carolina. Can anyone help me or direct me to a website that will help me understand when, and where the boundaries changed. I have been working on my Jones family history since the early 1970's and here I am still working on them, and really no further back than in the 70's? No virus found in this outgoing message.
