Nor is it in the Colonial Virginia Source Records CD (FTM 510) John -----Original Message----- From: varoots-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:varoots-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Julie Sent: Thursday, June 28, 2007 5:19 PM To: varoots@rootsweb.com Subject: [VAROOTS] records of the Virginia Settlement thank you! I'll check those out!!! Do you or anyone, know where they might have filed the indentured servant contracts? How did people get on the boat? did you just jump on and figure someone on the other end will take you on as a servant? or do you sign a contract beforehand? Did the ships from Europe come from only England? or if they were French did they go from France? or stop off in England first then go? Now watch - it will be all of the above and I won't be any closer to finding where my Nicholas LaHugh came from, lol Julie in CA ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to VAROOTS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message No virus found in this incoming message.
