    3. Thanks for your suggestions but, the problem is that the only piece info I have is that the person died in 1921...nothing else. The first step is for me to find out exactly when the person died, and that's what I'm looking for. After I find the exact date, then I can search for obit, burial location etc. Library of Virginia has microfilm reels of deaths which occurred in 1921, but the reels are not available for interlibrary loan, and I don't live anywhere near Richmond. The public library in Lexington, VA does not have the information. If you have an idea about the cemetery they are buried in, contact them and they will have a death record. I recently got a death record and the newspaper obit from a funeral home. Good luck Mary

    3. Don't overlook the possibilities that may be available to you through the gen./hist. societies at the place - the "where" - that your person died. If you are unable to determine that "where", it likely will be helpful to move forward from where he/she was born or lived at some date. -----Original Message----- From: varoots-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:varoots-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Sandy Sent: Wednesday, June 20, 2007 8:18 AM To: varoots@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [VAROOTS] death in 1921 Thanks for your suggestions but, the problem is that the only piece info I have is that the person died in 1921...nothing else.
