If you have the full name and at least the month they died in 1921 you might try the Virginia State Library, or the Virginia Room of the public library for Rockbridge County - that would probably be in Lexington, VA. If you have an idea about the cemetery they are buried in, contact them and they will have a death record. I recently got a death record and the newspaper obit from a funeral home.
