Hi All, A little bit ago there was some postings on a couple of these lists concerning the 1782 Pittsylvania County Census index that is posted on USGenWeb archives. We noted that there were many names that are in the 1782 Pittsylvania Personal Property Tax List that are not in this mentioned index. We wondered where this index came from. Then we thought it might be helpful to supply the images of the 1782 Pittsylvania Personal Property Tax List for your comparison. These are the same images that are included on our CD for the Pittsylvania 1782-1803 Personal Property Tax Lists.
