I'm trying to join "The Order Of The Indian Wars Of The United States". and must be "invited" by a current member. Is anyone here a member of that group who'd be willing to extend an invitation? (please...) I'm currently a member of DAR, Col Dames, and War of 1812. Sarah

I'm curious - what do you need to join and how did you find it? Hi Julie, This is what you have to do to qualify for the Order of The Indian Wars, but first you must absolutely get another member to "invite" you to join. (which is where I'm stuck) lol Basically you must be able to document descent from an ancestor who fought in one of the early Indian Wars. May I suggest you go to the "officers of the order" page, pick one or more of the officers, and send him/them a letter citing your qualifications and wish to be nominated to be a member.
