Cheryl, I don't know if there's a connection, but I also have Miller's. One thing that strikes me from what you say is Ringgold. I don't have Ringgold myself, but one of the children of Samuel Gibbons, husband of Christina Miller (and brother to my own John Gibbons) was an Alfred Ringgold Gibbons.
