Zachariah Sr. was also listed > with a wife who was also over the age of 45 and a young girl who was under the > age of ten as well as another girl who was 26 - 45 years old. Other Crawfords who were listed on the 1810 census of Rockingham Co., Va. was a man named Martin Crawford (page #147). He was listed as a 26-45 year old male with a wife of the same age group and a son who was 10 -16 years old; there was also a man named William Crawford (page #138) who was also listed as a 26-45 year old man with a wife who was also 26-45 years old and they had no sons but 3 daughters who were under the age of 10 at that time. There was also an elderly woman named Sarah Crawford who was listed on the 1810 census of Rockingham Co., VA., however, there were actually two women listed in this home who were both over the age of 45 at that time. Don't know who the other woman was. There was no listed of anyone named Jeremiah Crawford of Rockingham County, VA., on the 1810 census, however, there was a man named Jeremiah Crawford listed on the 1810 census of Monroe Co., VA., who was 26-45 years old. Hope some of this helps to some extent./Kelly > > > > Subject: [VAROCKIN] Zachariah Crawford b. 1795 > Date: Thu, 11 Nov 1999 23:53:05 EST > From: WValadybug@aol.com > To: VAROCKIN-L@rootsweb.com > > Dear List Servs; > > It was recently brought to my attention that Zachariah Crawford would > have been to young to have children, as I have him listed below, but he is in > the 1850 Rockingham census as being 55, with the family I have.
