Mary, Hi this is Debbie. A while ago you ask about the Miller-Kite house, I was wondering if you received an answer yet? The only bit I know is in Elkton, Virginia on route 340 a little past Bear Lithia Spring is a sign on the side of the road. It is across from a White farm house, which I think is privately owned. I don't know if this is the original Adam Miller's farm. The sign # is JD 8 it says: FIRST SETTLERS " Greenmeadows" to the west ( 340) was the home of Adam Miller (1703-1783) one of the first Europeans to settle in the Valley. The property remained in the Miller ( Originally Mueller) family from the 1740's through 1936. Hope this help, Debbie "Mary D.
