My gg grandfather, George Washington Garrison, is listed as born in Rockingham County. I have no date, but I do have the date of birth of one of his daughters born in WV in 1866, so he would have probably be in Rockinham much before then. It is listed that he had spouses: Unknown Hart, Ginsie White Kemper and "probably the last" Charity Ann Boise. I would assume the first two were in Rockingham County, but I don't know that. I haven't found any of the above on the 1850, 1810, or 1820 census. I looked today in the Rockingham births 1860-1865, nothing. But since I have received an answer to a similar query within the last hour suggesting that maybe I I should look in Rockingham County, North Carolina instead. But in case this is not fruitful, if anyone has any information re the above, thanks again.
