This is a great group. Yesterday, I posted a query asking for help weeding out the Millers. By this morning, I had 5 answers. The two most promising as to being the parents of my John Miller, b. prob. 1755 (I do not know the sourse of this and it could be later), and married Caty Bowman, the daughter of Jacob Bowman. John went to Washington Co., TN by 1787. The two most promising leads concern Adam b. 1703, who had a brother, Jacob, born 1702 and also, John Miller, who with his wife, Hannah sold land to Jacob Bowman in 1779. I have been told that this John descended from Jacob Miller, immigrant of 1710 or Hans miller of Pequea. Can anyone tell me more about these people? Thanks very much.
