I descend from Thoms 'The Quaker' Loker who died March 20, 1795 in Smith's Creek, Tenth Legion, Rockingham Co., VA. Thomas' children (that I know of) were Grace, John & James. Grace married Jacob Woodley. This is my direct line that descens from Thomas Loker: Thomas 'The Quaker' Loker John Loker & Elizabeth unknown William Loker (Lokey) & Rachel Bowers John Looker & Edith (Edy) Mathews Laurence Frank Looker & Margaret Lilley Pearl Looker & Charles W. Diebold Helen Diebold & Ray Cooke Smith (my grandparents) I have that Jacob & Grace (Loker) Woodley's daughter Barbara married William Pickering. William & Barbara (Woodley) Pickering's son Abraham Pickering married Anne Loker (Lokey) on March 25, 1799 In Rockingham Co., VA. This Anne Loker was the daughter of James Loker (son of Thomas 'The Quaker' Loker) and Frances Betty Russel. Many of the decendants of Thomas 'The Quaker' settled in Licking, Fairfield & Hardin Counties, OH. My Looker family (John Looker & Edy Mathews) settled in Hardin Co., OH around 1839.
