Gay St., Harrisonburg, Va. died Wednesday (22 Jan 1986) at Rockingham Memorial Hospital where she had been admitted Monday. Born 09 May 1902 in Rockingham Co. d/o the late John W. & Mary Bixler Tusing. She spent most of her life in Harrisonburg. She was the widow of John Pittington. Survivors include 2 step-daughters, Mammie Donovan of Harrisonburg & Ethel Shirkey of Baltimore, 4 sisters, Rachel Burgoyne, Ruth Nutter & Naomi Shifflett all of Harrisonburg & Jane Brown of Linville & a brother, Paul C. Tusing of Harrisonburg. A graveside service will be conducted Friday in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens north of Harrisonburg.
