Are you familiar with the book that was published by Paul Holsinger in 1969 (I believe) on the Holsinger family? It should be available through inter-library loan at your local library (they probably don't have a copy sent it was privately published). I don't know how reliable the information, but Michael Holsinger covered in this book was born 1819, son of David Holsinger; he married Babara [---?---]. There is some confusion on this family. I also have a Michael Holsinger, born 1814, who married Mary Spitzer, son of Alexander Holsinger, son of Michael Holsinger, born 1819. Something is definitely wrong!
