Richard: I have considerable information on the Pirkey family (as it is generally spelled); however, I am not aware that he left a will. The Rockingham abstract of executor bonds does not include one for him. There may be an obituary for him, but I'm not aware of it. He married Anna Elizabeth Kiger (as it is generally spelled now) on 2 June 1818 in Rockingham County. He died 12 April 1852 in Rockingham. He was the son of Henry Pirkey and Anna Margaret Conrad. I descend from Henry and Margaret Pirkey (my ggggg grandparents) through their son Henry. The older Henry was the son of Henry (naturally) and Margaret ???.
