I would greatly appreciate it if someone would check their Rockingham marriage book to see if there are any marriages for Bachelor, Batchellor, Batchelder, Batcheldor and possibly other variations. On 24 Feb 1813 in Rockingham County, Thomas Batchellor married Mary (Polly) Higgins, who was the daughter of Robert Higgins and sister of my ggg grandmother Catherine Higgins. I found a marriage on Familysearch.com for Ruth Batchelder and John Miller on 13 April 1848 in Rockingham. I am interested in tracking descendants of the 1813 Batchellor/Higgins marriage.
