My great great great grandfather, David Lyons, was born in Rockingham Co. before 1786. He married there 11Mar 1807. Several years later he and his wife's family moved to Preble Co., Ohio. I am searching for any information on David's father. Family legend has it that he was born in England. After David's birth, the father returnedto England to secure a legacy and was never heard from again. When the father left, David was bound out to another family, name unknown.
