However I have quite some data which i received from Elna Henning in Missouri(?) in 1990. My g-grandmother was mary Snell from Rockingham Co., VA(1839-1862), she married my g-grandfather, David Elexander Fairburn(1820-1909)9 Feb 1858 in Rockingham Co. I believe your Henry was the 7th of 11 children born to John Jacob Snell(1760-18230 and Maria Snavely(1778-1826). These records go back to John Nicholas Schnell b.1690 in what is now Germany.
