On July 9th, 11am, at the Princess Snowbird Campgrounds, the descendants of John and Nancy Vance will hold their reunion. This will be the 20th year that Daniel Vance has been president of the reunion committee, and he has done a wonderful job. John Vance [1746-1827] was a Revolutionary War veteran, and received land in Pendleton Co, VA (WVa) , behind Seneca Rocks, for his service. He and Nancy were married at Fort Pitt , ca. October 1773. They had seven children. John was from the Winchester, VA area. The reunion is a covered dish lunch, after a business meeting, with a speaker, and music provided by the Winebrenners. Pictures are shared, lineages, and family stories abound. All family and friends are invited to come and enjoy the day. Koren Fae Rawlings / William J. Vance 304-358-3261 P.O.
