Let me add the allied names of Frankham (Frankum), Andes, and Peterson to my Whitesel, Showalter, Ashby query. I descend from Walker Jefferson Frankham and Sarah Catherine Showalter. I also am a descendant of William Peterson and Sallie Beasley through Mary Catherine Peterson and Samuel Showalter (parents of Sarah Catherine Showalter). I also have problems with Sarah Showalter's daughter's husband's family. In other words, Wildie Rose Frankham (daughter of Sarah Showalter and W.J. Frankham) married Jackson Davis Whitesel (J.D. Whitesel was the brother in H.N. Whitesel & Brother). J.D.'s parents were Simon Whitesel and Catherin Andes. Catherin Andes was the daughter of Andrew. I do have more information on these people mentioned, however, I do not have enough information to move upward/outward/inward in these parts of the family.
